I’d like to begin this story from a journey.
Every day we repeat to ourselves that we need to make a change in our live, to do something out off the grid and completely turns it upside down.
Well, that’s what crossed Mr Panem’s mind one fine day. To leave everything behind and start the journey, without any plan and live primarily through instinct. The roads are his itinerary, Italy is his journey discovering Italy and its tastes and flavours.
The journey turns into a project: crossing Italy and looking for gastronomic highlights, of those products that are still little known but have wonderful stories to tell, which Mr Panem notes on his notebook.
It’s a long journey of research and discovery. Mr Panem left empty-handed but now his luggage is full of beautiful places, stories, craft products and traditions to tell and share.
The time has come to stop permanently and pass on to others what he has learned during the journey.
